Hi, I'm Marisa!
I am a self-taught artist and began my creative journey by teaching myself to draw and paint at a young age. I’ve always found art to be learned best through natural exploration and curiosity which inevitably comes with its own trial and error. I find an abundance of inspiration in film and media. The art that I gravitate to is multifaceted, has many different aspects, or is obscure.
My creative practices involve graphic design, animation, and design. My work primarily involves human emotion and aims to evoke raw emotions and feelings. I typically take a very dark approach to most of my designs.
In the future I plan on creating things that feel critical of social and political issues and using my art as a medium to communicate this commentary. I will always consistently choose to reflect human emotion and nature.
